Email & collaboration

Google for Nonprofits

Explore Workspace, outreach and other nonprofit tools available to your organisation.

Eligibility
Country-specific registration and Goodstack verification are required. Government bodies, schools and healthcare organisations have separate rules; qualifying charitable arms may be considered.
Activation & ownership
Google for Nonprofits validation and each product activation are separate steps. Keep the organisation’s domain and administrator access under its control.
Budget considerations
Confirm the selected edition, eligible users, any paid upgrades and Afrisol service charges separately.

Email & collaboration

Microsoft for Nonprofits

Review Microsoft 365, Azure, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform nonprofit options.

Eligibility
Microsoft assesses recognised legal status, mission and programme terms. Education and government organisations must use their appropriate pathways.
Activation & ownership
Verify the exact nonprofit tenant, eligible users, subscription, billing owner and renewal. An eligibility approval does not itself activate Azure or migrate an existing tenant.
Budget considerations
Grant, discounted and commercial products can coexist. Check user eligibility, commitment, billing and current offer terms before acceptance.

Cloud & credits

AWS Nonprofit Credit Program

Explore cloud promotional credits distributed through TechSoup and its international partner network.

Eligibility
Use the TechSoup or partner route for the organisation’s country. Educational institutions have a separate AWS learning route.
Activation & ownership
Validate the organisation, receiving AWS account and applicable credit terms before redemption. Check expiry and which charges remain payable.
Budget considerations
Credits are limited and do not cap spending. Budget alerts, resource limits, usage reviews and a post-credit operating budget belong in the implementation plan.

Cloud & credits

AWS TechAction

A separate AWS application pathway for donor and member engagement projects.

Eligibility
An active AWS account and a qualifying donor or member engagement use case are required. AWS reviews each application.
Activation & ownership
Prepare a specific project description and verify the receiving account. A previous TechSoup credit does not establish a TechAction award.
Budget considerations
Award size and expiry depend on the provider’s decision. Plan ongoing hosting and support beyond promotional credits.

Organisation & delivery

TechSoup & local partners

Discover validated technology donations, discounts and partner programmes.

Eligibility
Organisation validation and product-specific donor rules are separate. Use the relevant country programme; Kenyan organisations can start with TechSoup Kenya.
Activation & ownership
Review each donor’s rules, administrative fees, account ownership and renewal before requesting a product.
Budget considerations
Donated or discounted software may carry an administrative fee, implementation cost or ongoing subscription. Verify the local offer.

Activation & ownership
Confirm the exact site, products, user tier, annual quote and renewal with Atlassian. Marketplace apps have their own pricing.
Budget considerations
Apply only the approved organisation-specific quote. Do not assume that another organisation’s discount applies to yours.

Activation & ownership
Complete website and measurement readiness, then the separate Ad Grants activation process. Agree who owns and manages the advertising account.
Budget considerations
